About Fluidsimulation.net
Fluidsimulation.net is a free website built around one real-time WebGL fluid simulation. You open the homepage, tap Start, then paint with a mouse or a finger and watch dye move through a live fluid field. Nothing to install and nothing to configure first.
The product puts the visitor first. You tap Start, then paint. There is no tutorial wall and no sign-up. Modes give water, fire, ink, and calm feels from different starting settings, not just new colors. Guides cover fluid simulation, the controls, and how browser tools differ from engineering CFD.
This is a real-time interactive model, tuned to stay smooth on ordinary laptops and phones. It is not a lab grade CFD package for engineering sign-off. That line stays clear on purpose. More on the split in CFD vs browser fluid simulation.
The solver advects dye through a velocity field and projects pressure every frame, all inside a WebGL shader pipeline that runs on your device's GPU. How that works is covered in how WebGL fluid simulation works.
The simulation stays local by design. Your strokes and frames never leave the tab unless you choose to screenshot the canvas or copy a share link. Optional Music and Live sound also stay in the tab; Live sound only uses the mic while you hold its control. See the Privacy Policy.
