How this ink mode feels
Ink mode keeps density on screen longer and uses medium swirl so ribbons of color stay clear instead of smearing into one wash. Colorful mode stays on for shifting hues as you work. Soft bloom keeps edges readable instead of blown out and overexposed.
For a quieter page with the same lingering dye idea, try calm mode.
- Low fade so ink remains visible
- Medium swirl for flowing, legible ribbons
- Colorful strokes for paint like sessions
- Soft bloom that keeps edges readable
Tips for ink painting
Pick a custom color when you want one fixed ink instead of shifting hues. Use larger brushes for broad washes and smaller ones for fine lines. Clear the canvas once layers stack too far. Copy link shares your current preset and quality with anyone.
Why dye moves
The solver advects density through a velocity field, then projects pressure so the fluid stays incompressible in a real-time sense. Those steps are the same ones walked through in how WebGL fluid simulation works.
Questions
Yes. Use the color control on the dock. Colorful mode can still shift hues over time unless you turn it off under Advanced.
Ink mode uses a lower fade speed on purpose, so density remains on screen long enough to read as a finished picture.
It is a simple, paint style fluid with no account and no ads blocking the canvas. Supervise young children with device heat and screen time as you usually would.
